Although art may not be the main draw in Atlantic City, there is a vibrant local art scene. The Atlantic City Art Center, located on the picturesque Garden Pier, houses three diverse art galleries exhibiting works by national, regional and local contemporary artists. The Noyes Museum of Art nestled on a serene lakeside across from the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, features fine art and folk art from the 19th through the 21st century. Casinos are also a part of the Atlantic City art scene. For example, Caesar’s Roman-style décor features an amazing 18-foot replica of Michelangelo’s “David” and public areas filled with fine artwork, artifacts and sculpture.
